![]() What a smart looking Sean we have here, have you just got out the bath? Very trendy with the pink gear. As your max size is 400 x 400 you can post you gif and it will animate. When you upload it to flicker an animation will only work at it's max size. What I do is create the animation then when you export it to file as an animated gif size it to 400 x 400. If it is the type of thing you are after I will explain in more detail. I have left the white lines in as a guide as to how I did it. I did this in DrawPlus as a stop motion animation. If you use an equal number of segments, say a hexagon or octagon you will get the effect proper. Unless we are doing summat wrong again LOL!!! Just tried the buddy icon.yep it don't work :>( make the GIF a smaller file first ie 75x75 and upload the GIF at this size, then copy the HTML from the "original" upload size. This should then animate correctly You have to keep the size the same as your uploaded GIF that is. Sorry for the low quality, I had to reduce the number of colours to avoid ending with a 6MB gif. It took me 10 minutes to setup this animation in Impact Plus. Perhaps not exactly what you are looking for. How do I get a GIF animation to work on flickr please This can also use plug-ins.It's a french site but accomodating to us Roast biffs and they cater for there own plugins that are well worth a look at -It used to be free to download.may still be!!! ![]() I know that this is a SERIF site but I also like using "PhotoFiltre" Not to hijack a thread, but I have just applied a plug-in called Crumple from Alien skin xenofex2 to a drawing I did using vueĪ good site is Harry's Filters (google that) - Not OUR Harry.LOL I too did not realise that we can put plug ins into it. Not sure how I would animate it, but a nice effect nevertheless. I can confirm that it works in PhotoPlus X2 Try it and see if it works out ok.get back to me if you struggle You can buy some plug-ins that work - I bought Alien skin and Eye candy from Serif a few years back.gotta be careful though as some only work in a set version.big hoo har about this on the forums last year To see if it works get a photo opened in your version, then go to the effects tab and at the bottom of the list is Plug-ins.If you have been successful the new plug-in should be in the list, or X2 or all -any of them) in the version numbered file if you click on it you will see a file in this called Plugins.Click on this for the place to copy your selected plugin.Close the program if it is open and then re-open it to activate said plug-in To do this I navigate to the computer hard drive (C) in my caseĪnd drill down to program .(Version number - 10. This done, you then copy the plug-in/or plug-in folder (it depends on the set up ) directly into the PhotoPlus "Plugins" folder. When you have downloaded a plug-in (either by zip file or self running application) you have to save the plug-in to a file that you can navigate to easily (say in your Documents.Downloads) Not ALL photoshop plug in's work with photoplus.but some Like the one above do!!Īll I do is "Google" "Photoshop Plug-ins" usually or follow other people's linksĪs far as I know it is PhotoPlus 10 and onwards that can accept some photoshop plug-ins PS I will see if the plug-in works on 11 and X2 when it arrives (tomorrow)Īre you saying there are plugins that work with Photoplus? Where do I get these from how do I plug them in? Photoshop plugin - works with Photoplus 10 The outputs could then be animated using serif software.maybe I have just been messing about looking for effects plug ins and found one that works with PhotoPlus.just download it and if you have photoplus copy the plug in to your photoplus plug in folder Ok here is something I'm playing around with, needs a lot of work, but at the moment I'm playing around with ideas. If I come up with anything I will make sure to stick it in a post for you to have a look at. Sounds like a good challenge for a future competition perhaps? I thought one of you would say: yeah, all you need to do is this and use this lol I never thought is was going to be so tricky. ![]() Seanyriley45 (a group admin) edited this topic ages ago. Perhaps it could be animated using DP X2 but I don't think that you could get the "bead" effects of a real Kaleidoscope. This is beyond my 2D artistry I think LOL I have only just mastered doing a GIF animation I have been playing around in DrawPlus, easy if you want it as an image but animated. Wow, great question, I have to say that at the moment I have not got a clue. What would be the best Serif software to use and how would I go about creating it? It has to animate and change colours and patterns of course, oh and it has to have some kind of symmetry just like a real kaleidoscope has. I am trying to create a visual kaleidoscope effect using just Serif software.
